why small dots

Why small dots?
Small dots is a metaphor for how new media works, and what role we all play in it as individuals.
Whether it’s one drop in the ocean, one dot in a dot matrix printer, or the period at the end of a sentence, small dots — placed thoughtfully and with care — can produce very large effects.
A small dot can be an insignificant speck, or the most important thing in the world. It all depends on where it sits.
